Life History of Srilasri Vellaiyananda Swamigal

Born in 1927 at Karumarapatti near Tiruvannamalai, Vellayananda Swamigal lived a life of intense devotion to Shiva and Krishna. From early childhood he practiced worship, meditation, and Arunachala devotion, later undertaking decades of severe penance and prolonged meditation. Blessed by Poondi Mahan, he guided countless devotees with compassion, spiritual insight, and grace. In 2012, he attained Jeeva Samadhi and continues to bless devotees in lingam form at Karumarapatti near Tiruvannamalai.
